This makes it easy to wear and carry, allowing you to stay seated in a car without removing it, as it moves freely over the seat. The US Army B-9 flight jacket, produced only during the two-year period from 1943 to 1944, was developed for wear in extreme cold regions. It boasts excellent cold protection thanks to its quilted down liner and the fur lining on the hood and chin strap. For daily wear, the insulation has been replaced with a lighter weight. The outer fabric also received modern updates, maintaining the original design while reducing density for a surprisingly lightweight feel despite its appearance.
