Championの過去のプロダクトをベースに新たな解釈で実験的に再構築・デザインしたカプセルコレクションを発表するN.HOOLYWOOD × Champion。
ニューコンセプトでありながら別軸となるプロダクトを製作する“NEW WEAVE”は2021年のローンチより人気シリーズとして継続的に発表しております。

NEW WEAVEシリーズ 第5弾目となる今回は、スウェット・天竺の素材別に２つのデリバリーに分けてリリース。
ファーストシーズンより引き続き立体裁断を用いながら、今シーズンは様々な年代のChampionのディテールをコラージュしたアイテムを展開いたします。

Champion REVERSE WEAVE®︎の 50’s のアイテムをベースに裏起毛素材を使用した、スナップフーデットスウェットシャツ、フーデットスウェットシャツ、クルーネックスウェットシャツ、トラックパンツの全4型を2月9日(金)に発売。
70’sのChampionのプロダクトから天竺素材を用いたアスレチックウェアにフォーカスを当てた、フットボールTシャツ、クルーネックTシャツ、ハーフパンツの全3型を4月26日(金)に発売いたします。

・REVERSE WEAVE®︎のニューコンセプトでありながら別軸となるプロダクトを展開する“NEW WEAVE”シリーズの第5弾を製作しました。
今シーズンはREVERSE WEAVE®の 50’s のアイテムにフォーカスし、当時のモデルをベースに、他年代のディテールをコラージュしたコレクションを展開。

・50’sに生産された“後付けパーカー”のフードディテールと、90’sのスナップカーディガンを掛け合わせて再構築。
フードは80’s~90’s に人気を博した通称“コーンヘッド”を採用し、通常外側の“後付け”を内側に変更。身体に沿いながら立体裁断で組み上げられたデザインです。
前身頃からスリーブを通り、後見頃まで一枚の生地で製作。内側に入り込むように丸みのあるフォルムのスリーブです。
サイドにエクスパンションガゼット、シームポケット付きで、フロントのスナップボタンは数を減らしモダンな印象になっています。
左袖にはチャンピオンのCロゴワッペンを配置し、N.HOOLYWOODのシグネチャーでもあるタグにChampionのロゴが入ったNEW WEAVE専用タグを製作。
今シーズンのタグは、通称“単色タグ”の 70’s初期に使用されていたアンダーライン入りの朱色タグのカラーを抽出。

・Champion REVERSE WEAVE®︎に使用される11.5オンスの裏起毛素材を使用し、BEIGEは今回のコラボレーションのために製作したオリジナルカラーです。

N.HOOLYWOOD x Champion
N.HOOLYWOOD x Champion presents a capsule collection based on Champion's past products, experimentally reconstructed and designed with a new interpretation.
NEW WEAVE", which is a new concept and produces products with a different axis, has been continuously presented as a popular series since its launch in 2021.

This is the fifth in the NEW WEAVE series and has been released in two separate deliveries for each material: sweatshirt and jersey.
Continuing the use of three-dimensional cutting from the first season, this season's items are a collage of Champion details from various eras.

A total of four models - a snap hooded sweatshirt, a hooded sweatshirt, a crew neck sweatshirt and track pants - will be released on 9 February (Fri), using a backed fabric based on the 50's items from Champion REVERSE WEAVE®︎.
A total of three models of football T-shirts, crew neck T-shirts and half pants, focusing on athletic wear using jersey from Champion's 70's products, will go on sale on Friday 26 April.

The fifth in the "NEW WEAVE" series, which is a new concept for REVERSE WEAVE®︎ and develops products with a different axis, has been produced.
This season's collection focuses on REVERSE WEAVE® items from the 50's and is based on models from that era, with details from other eras collaged into the collection.

The hood detail of the "retrofit parka" produced in the 50's and the snap cardigan of the 90's have been crossed and reconstructed.
The hood adopts the popular "corn head" style from the 80's~90's, with the "post-adhesive" usually on the outside being changed to the inside. The design is made with a three-dimensional cut that follows the body.
Made from a single piece of fabric from the front, through the sleeves to the rear. The sleeve has a rounded form, as if it were going into the inside.
With side expansion gussets and seam pockets, the number of snap buttons on the front has been reduced for a modern look.
A Champion C logo patch is placed on the left sleeve and a NEW WEAVE exclusive tag with the Champion logo on N.HOOLYWOOD's signature tag.
This season's tag is extracted from the colour of the underlined vermilion tag used in the early 70's, commonly known as the "single colour tag".

The 11.5 oz backed material used for Champion REVERSE WEAVE®︎ is used, and BEIGE is an original colour produced for this collaboration.
