PHIGVELが追求する“ニュークラシック”を体現する、5ポケットデニムパンツの定番モデル。
生地には、ブランドが独自開発した12オンスのオリジナル・セルビッチデニムを使用。仕上げには生機（キバタ）仕上げ＋ワンウォッシュを施し、糸の毛羽立ちやヨレ感、凹凸のある立体的な風合いが着用とともに深まり、育てる楽しみを味わえる一本です。

シルエットはモデル名「302」として展開される、ごく緩やかにテーパードしたレギュラーストレート。ヒップや腿まわりに程よくゆとりを残しながらも、裾へかけて自然に絞られたシルエットが、クラシックな中にも現代的な洗練を感じさせます。

ワンウォッシュリリースながら、さらに一度洗うことで理想のフィット感へ落ち着くようパターン設定されており、デイリーに安心して履ける設計も魅力の一つ。

国内の限られた高品質なデニム工場にて、PHIGVELならではの面感・耐久性・経年変化を意識して丁寧に仕立てられた一本。シーズンやスタイルを問わず、ワードローブの中核として永くご愛用いただけるプロダクトです。履く頻度にもよりますが、個人的には週1程度着用し、ワンシーズンに一回洗濯して2年程履いた生地の藍色の色味が非常に良く、色味の満足度と色落ちの楽しさを体感しています。

2002年にデザイナーの東野英樹氏が立ち上げ「ニュークラシック」をコンセプトに、クラシックかつ上質、そして普遍的なリアルクローズを提案するファッションブランド。根底にアメリカンクラシックがあり、そこにヨーロッパのテイストやモダンさを加えた”ミックス感”が特徴。デザイナーのこだわりの一つに「面感」があり、色味や素材をPHIGVELオリジナルで作り込む事で、他にはない独自の世界観を表現しています。

A standard model of 5-pocket denim pants that embodies the “new classic” that PHIGVEL pursues.
The fabric is made from the brand's original 12-ounce selvedge denim. The finishing process includes a “kibata” finishing and a one-wash process, which gives the pants a three-dimensional texture with unevenness, a sense of fluffing and sagging of the threads that deepens as they are worn, making them a fun item to grow into.

The silhouette is a very gently tapered regular straight, which is developed under the model name "302. The silhouette, which leaves a good amount of room around the hips and thighs and naturally narrows toward the hem, gives a sense of modern sophistication in the midst of a classic look.

The pattern is set to settle down to an ideal fit by washing once more, while the one-wash release is one of the charms of the design that can be worn with confidence on a daily basis.

This pair was carefully tailored at a limited number of high-quality denim factories in Japan with an awareness of PHIGVEL's unique surface texture, durability, and age-related changes. Regardless of the season or style, this is a product that can be used as the core of your wardrobe for many years to come. Although it depends on how often you wear it, I personally wear it about once a week, wash it once a season, and wear it for about 2 years. The indigo color of the fabric is very good, and you will experience the satisfaction of the color and the fun of color fading.
