アメリカを代表するブーツブランドDanner（ダナー）とN.HOOLYWOOD COMPILEによるコラボレーションから生まれた、スエードスリッポン。

アッパーには、上質な風合いが魅力のイタリアンスエードを採用。せり出したコバと堅牢なステッチワークがクラシックな存在感を生み出し、カジュアルからドレススタイルまで幅広く馴染む、洗練された佇まいに仕上げています。

履き口には表革のパイピングを施し、耐久性と足当たりの良さを向上。インソールには弾力性に優れたフットベッドを全面に採用し、快適な履き心地と足馴染みの良さを追求しています。

アウトソールには、優れたグリップ力を備えるVibram®（ビブラム）社製のフラットタンクソールを採用。ソール交換も可能な仕様で、長く愛用できる実用性を備えています。

個人的に、レザーシューズの中でもスリッポンは群を抜いて履きやすいと感じる一足です。 ただし、これまで唯一気になっていたのが、軽快な印象ゆえに春夏のイメージが強く、秋冬の装いには取り入れにくかったこと。

その点、今回のモデルは厚みのあるVibramソールと温かみのあるスエード素材によって、秋冬のスタイリングにも自然に馴染む仕上がりです。ソールの厚みは路面からの水跳ねを軽減するうえでも魅力的。さらに、スエード用の撥水スプレーで適切にケアすることで、日常のお手入れもしやすくなります。

秋・冬・春の3シーズンを中心に、気負わず履けるレザーシューズ。 気温の高い夏場はサンダルに譲るとして、それ以外の季節にはつい手が伸びる、そんな一足になりそうです。

A suede slip-on born from a collaboration between Danner, a leading American boot brand, and N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE.

The upper features Italian suede, known for its premium texture. The raised edge and sturdy stitching create a classic presence, resulting in a sophisticated look that pairs seamlessly with everything from casual to dressy styles.

The collar is finished with full-grain leather piping to enhance durability and improve comfort against the foot. The insole features a full-length footbed with excellent elasticity, designed to provide a comfortable fit and a shoe that molds to the foot over time.

The outsole features a Vibram® flat tank sole, known for its superior grip. Designed with replaceable soles, these shoes offer the practicality to be cherished for years to come.

Personally, I find slip-ons to be by far the most comfortable type of leather shoe. However, the only thing that had bothered me until now was that, due to their light and airy impression, they were strongly associated with spring and summer, making them difficult to incorporate into fall and winter outfits.

In that regard, this model—with its thick Vibram sole and warm suede material—blends naturally into fall and winter styling. The sole’s thickness is also appealing for reducing water splashes from the pavement. Furthermore, with proper care using a water-repellent spray designed for suede, daily maintenance becomes a breeze.

These are leather shoes you can wear effortlessly, primarily during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. While you might opt for sandals during the hot summer months, this pair is sure to become the one you naturally reach for during the other seasons.
