英国の伝統的なニットウェアに見られる、シャギードッグセーターをPHIGVELらしく仕上げたカーディガン。

素材には、素朴で温かみのある風合いが魅力のシェットランドウール糸を使用。仕上げに起毛加工を施すことで、ふんわりとした毛羽立ちと、クラシックなシャギードッグ特有の豊かな表情を生み出しています。

起毛によって繊維の間に空気層が生まれるため、保温性にも優れ、寒い季節にも暖かな着心地を実現しています。

編み地には5ゲージの天竺編みを採用。厚すぎず薄すぎない絶妙なボリューム感ながら、ミドルアウターのような暖かさも魅力です。秋口には軽い羽織りとして、冬にはコートのインナーとして、幅広い季節に活躍します。

A cardigan inspired by the traditional British “Shaggy Dog” sweater, reimagined in PHIGVEL’s signature style.

It is crafted from Shetland wool yarn, known for its rustic, warm texture. A brushed finish creates a soft, fluffy texture and the rich, distinctive look characteristic of the classic Shaggy Dog style.

The brushing process creates air pockets between the fibers, providing excellent thermal insulation and ensuring a warm, comfortable feel even during the coldest months.

The knit features a 5-gauge stockinette stitch. It offers an exquisite balance—neither too thick nor too thin—while providing the warmth of a mid-layer. It’s versatile enough to wear as a light outer layer in early fall or as a layer under a coat in winter.
