1950年代に米軍が極寒地での着用を想定し、フィールドジャケットの上から羽織る防寒着として開発したM-51。その機能的な設計を現代的に再構築した、N.HOOLYWOOD TEST PRODUCT EXCHANGE SERVICEのフィッシュテールパーカ。

フロントはファスナーとドットボタンの二重構造。フードやウエスト、裾にはドローコード、袖口には調整タブを備え、着用シーンに合わせたフィット感やシルエットの変更が可能です。特徴的なフィッシュテールは内側に留めることで、すっきりとしたスクエアシルエットにもアレンジできます。

長めの着丈に、ドロップショルダーとゆとりのある身幅を組み合わせたリラックスシルエット。ステッチに生まれるパッカリングが、ミリタリーウェアらしい立体的な表情を引き立てています。

素材には、コットンの自然な風合いとナイロン特有の発色、程よい光沢を兼ね備えたダンプ生地を採用。撥水・花粉ガード加工に加え、UVカット機能も備えています。

The M-51 was developed by the U.S. military in the 1950s as a cold-weather garment designed to be worn over a field jacket in extremely cold conditions. The N.HOOLYWOOD TEST PRODUCT EXCHANGE SERVICE Fishtail Parka is a modern reinterpretation of that functional design.

The front features a dual closure system with a zipper and dot buttons. Drawstrings at the hood, waist, and hem, along with adjustment tabs at the cuffs, allow you to customize the fit and silhouette to suit any occasion. The distinctive fishtail can be tucked inside to create a clean, square silhouette.

The relaxed silhouette combines a longer body length with dropped shoulders and a roomy body width. The puckering created by the stitching accentuates the three-dimensional look characteristic of military wear.

The fabric is a “dump” fabric that combines the natural texture of cotton with the vibrant color and subtle sheen unique to nylon. In addition to water-repellent and pollen-blocking treatments, it also offers UV protection.

This piece embodies the functional beauty of military wear while pursuing the comfort and styling flexibility required for modern urban life.
