元来スポーツウェアとして誕生したコーチジャケットをベースに、クラシックなフィッシングジャケットのディテールを融合。PHIGVELらしい解釈によって、機能美と上質さを兼ね備えた"NEW CLASSIC"な一着へと昇華しています。

最大の特徴は、3種類の異なる糸を組み合わせて織り上げたワックス調ファブリック。オイルドクロスのような深みのある表情を持ちながらも、実際に袖を通すと驚くほど軽く、しなやかな着心地を実現しています。クラシックな雰囲気と現代的な快適さを高い次元で両立した、PHIGVELならではの素材使いです。

背面には、古いフィッシングジャケットに見られる大型のゲームポケットを配置。左右のシームポケットには牛革による補強を施し、耐久性と高級感を兼ね備えています。さらに内側にも左右それぞれスナップボタン付きポケットを備え、収納力にも優れた実用的な仕様。

襟元にはチンストラップを備え、風の侵入を防ぐスタンドカラーとしても着用可能。袖は可動域を広げるマチ一体型のラグランスリーブを採用し、厚手のニットやスウェットの上からでもストレスなく腕を動かせます。裏地には綿100％の起毛ライニングを使用し、柔らかな肌触りと保温性を備え、秋口から真冬まで快適に着用いただけます。左右の脇下には通気の菊穴が３つ配置。

A high-end coach jacket crafted from high-performance fabric by the Italian company OLMETEX, which PHIGVEL has consistently used for several seasons.

Based on the coach jacket—originally designed as sportswear—this piece blends details from classic fishing jackets. Through PHIGVEL’s distinctive interpretation, it has been elevated into a “NEW CLASSIC” piece that combines functional beauty with superior quality.

Its most distinctive feature is the waxed-effect fabric, woven by combining three different types of yarn. While it possesses the deep, rich texture of oiled cloth, it is surprisingly light and supple when worn. This unique use of materials, characteristic of PHIGVEL, achieves a high level of balance between classic style and modern comfort.

The back features a large game pocket reminiscent of vintage fishing jackets. The left and right seam pockets are reinforced with cowhide leather, combining durability with a premium feel. Additionally, the interior includes snap-button pockets on both sides, offering excellent storage capacity and practical functionality.

The collar features a chin strap, allowing it to be worn as a stand-up collar to block out the wind. The sleeves feature raglan sleeves with integrated gussets to expand your range of motion, allowing you to move your arms freely even when wearing thick knits or sweatshirts underneath. The lining is made of 100% brushed cotton, offering a soft feel against the skin and excellent warmth, ensuring comfort from early fall through the depths of winter. Three ventilation holes are placed under each arm.


OLMETEX, the manufacturer of the fabric, is a leading textile company in the Como region of Italy, founded in 1952. It has produced numerous high-performance materials that excel in wind resistance, water repellency, and lightweight design, earning high praise from luxury outerwear brands around the world. Furthermore, the company is actively committed to environmentally conscious manufacturing practices, such as reducing water and energy consumption and limiting the release of harmful chemicals (in accordance with ZDHC standards). Impressed by its proven quality and philosophy, PHIGVEL has continued to use this fabric for several seasons.
