N.HOOLYWOOD × Championによるカプセルコレクションから、1980年代のChampionコーチジャケットをベースに、現代的なパターンワークと機能素材で再構築したCOACH JACKET。

Championが培ってきたスポーツウェアの歴史と、N.HOOLYWOODならではの立体的なデザインが融合した、スペシャルな一着です。

ベースとなるのは、Championが1980年代に展開していたコーチジャケット。最大の特徴は、前身頃から袖、後身頃までを一枚の生地で構成した立体裁断です。身体の動きに自然と沿う設計により、見た目の美しさと快適な着心地を両立しています。

さらに、特殊な縫製技術によってヴィンテージウェア特有のパッカリングを再現。新品でありながら着込んだような豊かな表情を生み出し、シンプルなデザインの中にも奥行きを感じさせます。
フロントはクラシックなドットボタン仕様。腰には斜めに配置した片玉縁ポケットを備え、袖口には平ゴム、裾にはドローコードを採用することで、防風性を高めながらシルエットのアレンジも楽しめます。

ディテールにも両ブランドのこだわりを凝縮。襟裏にはChampionのCロゴ、左胸にはスクリプトロゴ刺繍、左袖にはCロゴワッペンを配置。さらに内側には1980〜90年代のChampionを象徴する"青刺繍タグ"をモチーフにした、今回だけのNEW WEAVE専用タグを採用しています。

シルエットは、Freshな空気感を纏うゆとりのあるボックスシルエット。素材には、天然素材のようなナチュラルな風合いを持つ特殊ナイロンを採用し、軽量でしなやかな着心地とイージーケア性を実現しています。

個人的には、このジャケットの魅力はスポーツウェアのルーツを持ちながら、テーラードジャケットのように美しく羽織れることだと感じています。デニムやカーゴパンツはもちろん、スラックスとも相性が良く、幅広いスタイリングで活躍します。

From the N.HOOLYWOOD × Champion capsule collection comes the COACH JACKET—a reimagining of the 1980s Champion coach jacket, reconstructed with contemporary patternwork and functional materials.

This special piece fuses Champion’s rich history in sportswear with N.HOOLYWOOD’s signature three-dimensional design.

The design is based on the coach jacket Champion released in the 1980s. Its most distinctive feature is the three-dimensional cut, where the front panel, sleeves, and back panel are constructed from a single piece of fabric. This design naturally follows the body’s movements, achieving both visual appeal and a comfortable fit.

Furthermore, special sewing techniques recreate the puckering characteristic of vintage clothing. This creates a rich, worn-in look despite the jacket being brand new, adding depth to the simple design.
The front features classic dot buttons. It includes a diagonally placed single-welt pocket at the waist, flat elastic at the cuffs, and a drawcord at the hem, allowing you to enjoy adjusting the silhouette while enhancing wind resistance.

The attention to detail reflects the dedication of both brands. The Champion “C” logo is featured on the inside of the collar, a script logo is embroidered on the left chest, and a “C” logo patch adorns the left sleeve. Furthermore, the interior features a NEW WEAVE-exclusive tag inspired by the “blue embroidered tag” that symbolized Champion in the 1980s and ’90s—a design created exclusively for this collaboration.

The silhouette is a relaxed, boxy cut that exudes a fresh, airy vibe. The fabric is a special nylon with a natural texture reminiscent of organic materials, delivering a lightweight, supple feel and easy-care properties.

Personally, I feel the appeal of this jacket lies in the fact that, while rooted in sportswear, it drapes beautifully like a tailored jacket. It pairs well not only with denim and cargo pants but also with dress pants, making it a versatile piece for a wide range of styles.

Pairing it with the WIDE EASY PANTS from the same series is the best way to fully experience the aesthetic of this collection. While it stands on its own as a polished piece, pairing it with the matching pants allows you to fully experience the distinctive presence unique to N.HOOLYWOOD × Champion.
