FRIEND EDITIONSは、2022年にOliver Shawによって設立され、アート・出版・プロダクトを通じてコミュニティを育むことを目的に活動。小部数のジンやアートブック、限定プロダクトの制作を通じ、新進気鋭から世界的なアーティストまで幅広いクリエイターをサポートしています。

本作は、そのFRIEND EDITIONSが手掛けるアートワークを、FreshServiceの定番CORPORATE L/S TEEへ落とし込んだ特別な一枚。

ベースには、FreshServiceを代表するオーバーサイズシルエットのロングスリーブTシャツを採用。肩や身幅にゆとりを持たせたリラックスフィットで、一枚でも存在感があり、レイヤードスタイルにも自然と馴染みます。

“道具”という明確な用途を持った衣服と”ファッションやアート”の観点で作られる道具。
大量生産が困難な産地や顔が見える距離の作り手、大量生産でありながら実用性や機能性の高いメーカーや工場と取り組み、ステーショナリーやカトラリー、タオルなどの日用品から、ユニフォームやワークウエアをイメージした衣服まで、手に取る人のライフスタイルを豊かにするアイテムを取り揃えます。

A capsule collection by New York-based creative platform FRIEND EDITIONS and FreshService.

Founded in 2022 by Oliver Shaw, FRIEND EDITIONS aims to foster community through art, publishing, and product design. Through the production of small-batch zines, art books, and limited-edition products, it supports a wide range of creators—from up-and-coming talents to world-renowned artists.

This piece is a special item that incorporates artwork created by FRIEND EDITIONS onto FreshService’s signature CORPORATE L/S TEE.

The base is FreshService’s signature oversized-silhouette long-sleeve T-shirt. With a relaxed fit featuring extra room at the shoulders and body, it makes a statement on its own while blending seamlessly into layered looks.

FreshService is a project led by Director Takayuki Minami, who reimagines items crafted around the world through his unique perspective and presents them as new products.
It features clothing with a clear purpose as “tools” and tools created from the perspective of “fashion and art.”
We collaborate with producers in regions where mass production is difficult, artisans we know personally, and manufacturers and factories that combine mass production with high practicality and functionality. Our selection ranges from daily necessities such as stationery, cutlery, and towels to clothing inspired by uniforms and workwear—all items designed to enrich the lifestyles of those who use them.
