KANEMASA PHIL.を代表する46Gシリーズから展開される定番シャツ、46G Modest Shirt。
当店では先行してStripeのデザインが入荷しておりましたが、大変ご好評で完売していたため急遽追加で無地のプレーンタイプを数点揃えました。

"Modest（控えめ）"という名の通り、肩から裾へ自然にストンと落ちる美しいシルエットが特徴。程よくゆとりを持たせながらも主張しすぎず、日常からビジネスカジュアルまで幅広いシーンに馴染む、ブランドのニュースタンダードです。

最大の特徴は、世界でも極めて希少な46ゲージの編み機によって実現したオリジナルファブリック。ニットでありながら高密度タイプライタークロスのようなハリと美しい表情を持ち、KANEMASA PHIL.ならではの高度な技術が詰め込まれています。

今シーズンは綿糸を120/2の細番手双糸へアップデート。さらにガス焼き加工を施すことで、より上品な光沢と毛羽立ちを抑えた美しい表情を実現しました。また、50デニールの高捲縮リサイクルナイロンを組み合わせることで、高いストレッチ性と滑らかな肌触り、シワになりにくいイージーケア性も兼ね備えています。

さらに、リサイクルナイロンとSRO糸を二浴染めすることで、奥行きのあるペールトーンカラーを表現。季節や性別を問わず取り入れやすく、上品な色合いがスタイリングに自然な存在感を与えます。

ディテールにはドレスシャツの仕様を採用し、すべて巻き伏せ本縫いで丁寧に縫製。貝ボタンや袖口の繊細なギャザーディテールなど、細部まで美しく仕上げられています。今シーズンからはボタン裏にブランドロゴを刻印し、見えない部分にもKANEMASA PHIL.らしいこだわりが宿ります。素材が生み出す上品な光沢とハリ、計算されたシルエット、そして快適な着心地。

HISTORY

KANEMASAは、1964年創業のカネマサ莫大小株式会社（以下、カネマサ莫大小）より発足した歌山県和歌山市を拠点にする丸編みニットメーカーのオリジナルブランドです。
ハイゲージに特化した独⾃の編機、様々な柄を⾃由に表現できるジャガード機、これらの編機を⾃在に操る特有の技術、職⼈技を未来に存続させるために、2021年SSシーズンから、自社ブランド KANEMASAは誕生しました。
ブランドのアイコンであるロゴは、Clement Johant氏が手がけ、創業当初の1960年代の時代背景と欧州の文化を融合するデザインが完成しました。

CONCEPT
「FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE（フューチャークラシック/フューチャーヴィンテージ）」をコンセプトに、私たちは“いま”考える未来の服を創造します。

The 46G Modest Shirt is a classic style from KANEMASA PHIL.’s signature 46G series.
We initially stocked the striped version ahead of its official release, but it was so popular that it sold out; we’ve now restocked with a few additional solid-color versions.

True to its name, “Modest,” this shirt features a beautiful silhouette that falls naturally and smoothly from the shoulders to the hem. With just the right amount of ease without being too flashy, it’s the brand’s new standard, suitable for a wide range of occasions from everyday wear to business casual.

Its most distinctive feature is the original fabric, created using an extremely rare 46-gauge knitting machine. Although it is a knit, it possesses the firmness and beautiful texture of high-density typewriter cloth, embodying the advanced craftsmanship unique to KANEMASA PHIL.

This season, we’ve upgraded the cotton yarn to a fine 120/2 two-ply count. Furthermore, by applying a gas-flaming finish, we’ve achieved a more elegant luster and a beautiful texture with minimal pilling. Furthermore, by combining it with 50-denier highly crimped recycled nylon, the fabric offers high stretch, a smooth feel against the skin, and easy-care properties that resist wrinkling.

Additionally, the recycled nylon and SRO yarn are dyed in a two-bath process to achieve deep, pale tones. These elegant hues are easy to incorporate regardless of season or gender, lending a natural presence to any outfit.

The details incorporate dress shirt construction, with every seam meticulously sewn using a rolled hem stitch. From the mother-of-pearl buttons to the delicate gathers at the cuffs, every detail is beautifully finished. Starting this season, the brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons, ensuring that even the hidden parts reflect KANEMASA PHIL.’s signature attention to detail. The fabric’s elegant sheen and firmness, the carefully calculated silhouette, and the comfortable fit.

*“Folded-in double-stitching” is a sewing technique where the fabric edge is folded inward and sewn twice. It ensures a comfortable feel against the skin, high durability, and a beautiful finish.

HISTORY

KANEMASA is an original brand of a circular knitwear manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, established by Kanemasa Mokudai Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Kanemasa Mokudai”), which was founded in 1964.
To preserve the unique technology required to masterfully operate these machines—including proprietary knitting machines specialized for high-gauge knitting and jacquard machines capable of freely expressing a wide variety of patterns—as well as the artisanal skills that keep these techniques alive for future generations, the in-house brand KANEMASA was launched for the 2021 Spring/Summer season.
The brand’s iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant, resulting in a design that fuses the historical context of the 1960s—when the company was founded—with European culture.
