素材には、28ゲージ高密度裏毛機で度詰めに編み立てたオリジナル裏毛素材を採用。表糸には105デニールの高収縮キュプラ糸を使用し、フィブリル加工を施すことで、独特の光沢感とヌメリ感、とろみのある風合いを実現しています。

肌に触れる裏面には、オリジナルのリサイクルスビンコットン双糸を使用。さらりとした肌触りと快適な着用感を備え、スウェットと天竺の中間ほどの絶妙な肉感に仕上げることで、季節を問わず着用できる汎用性を実現しました。

今シーズンはラグランスリーブを採用することで、肩まわりの可動域を広げ、よりリラックスした着心地へとアップデート。アームホールから身幅、ネックラインに至るまで細部のパターンを緻密に設計することで、素材本来の美しいドレープと落ち感を最大限に引き出しています。

HISTORY

KANEMASAは、1964年創業のカネマサ莫大小株式会社（以下、カネマサ莫大小）より発足した歌山県和歌山市を拠点にする丸編みニットメーカーのオリジナルブランドです。
ハイゲージに特化した独⾃の編機、様々な柄を⾃由に表現できるジャガード機、これらの編機を⾃在に操る特有の技術、職⼈技を未来に存続させるために、2021年SSシーズンから、自社ブランド KANEMASAは誕生しました。
ブランドのアイコンであるロゴは、Clement Johant氏が手がけ、創業当初の1960年代の時代背景と欧州の文化を融合するデザインが完成しました。

CONCEPT
「FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE（フューチャークラシック/フューチャーヴィンテージ）」をコンセプトに、私たちは“いま”考える未来の服を創造します。

A new staple raglan pullover made from KANEMASA PHIL.’s signature 28G cupro fleece.
This piece offers a new take on style unique to the brand, combining the comfort of a sweatshirt with the lightness of a knit top.

The fabric is an original brushed fabric, densely knitted on a 28-gauge high-density brushing machine. The face yarn uses 105-denier high-shrinkage cupro yarn, which undergoes fibril processing to achieve a unique luster, a silky smoothness, and a rich, velvety texture.

The inner side that touches the skin uses an original recycled spun cotton two-ply yarn. With a smooth feel against the skin and comfortable wear, it is finished with an exquisite thickness—somewhere between a sweatshirt and a jersey—achieving versatility that allows it to be worn year-round.

This season, the raglan sleeves have been adopted to expand the range of motion around the shoulders, updating the design for an even more relaxed fit. The pattern has been meticulously designed down to the finest details—from the armholes to the body width and neckline—to maximize the fabric’s inherent beautiful drape and flow.

A drawcord at the hem allows for easy silhouette adjustment. The natural fabric pooling created when the hem is cinched is visually striking, adding character to your look while offering the casual ease of a T-shirt.
In addition to its versatility—it works equally well worn on its own or as a layering piece—the high-quality fabric elevates your everyday look to the next level.

KANEMASA is an original brand of a circular knit manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, established by Kanemasa Mokudai Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Kanemasa Mokudai”), which was founded in 1964.
To preserve the unique technology required to master these knitting machines—including proprietary machines specialized for high-gauge knitting and jacquard machines capable of freely expressing a wide variety of patterns—as well as the artisanal skills that keep these techniques alive for future generations, the in-house brand KANEMASA was launched for the 2021 Spring/Summer season.
The brand’s iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant, resulting in a design that blends the historical context of the 1960s—when the company was founded—with European culture.
