KANEMASA PHIL.ならではの高度なニッティング技術から生まれた、28G Ombre Check Balise Shirt。ブランド完全オリジナルとなるオンブレチェック柄を採用した一着です。"Balise（バリス）"とはフランス語で「標識」を意味し、ワークシャツとドレスシャツ、さらにブルゾンの要素を融合した、新たなポジションを提案するモデルとして製作されました。

最大の特徴は、他では見ることのできない独自のオンブレチェック柄。28ゲージのジャカード編み機でボーダー柄を編み立てた後、縦方向へ特殊なプリント加工を施すことで、奥行きのあるオンブレチェックを表現しています。

プリント後の仕上がりまで計算して編み設計を行うことで、ニットとプリント、それぞれの技術を融合させたKANEMASA PHIL.ならではのテキスタイルが完成しました。

素材は、高いストレッチ性と適度なハリ、適度な厚み、上品な光沢を兼ね備えたブランドオリジナルファブリック。一度袖を通すと手放せなくなる快適な着心地に加え、シワになりにくく、お手入れのしやすいイージーケア性も備えています。

縫製はドレスシャツと同様に巻き伏せ本縫いを採用し、貝ボタンを使用することで上質な印象に。一方で、袖まわりにはブルゾンのニュアンスを取り入れ、程よいリラックス感を演出しています。

HISTORY

KANEMASAは、1964年創業のカネマサ莫大小株式会社（以下、カネマサ莫大小）より発足した歌山県和歌山市を拠点にする丸編みニットメーカーのオリジナルブランドです。
ハイゲージに特化した独⾃の編機、様々な柄を⾃由に表現できるジャガード機、これらの編機を⾃在に操る特有の技術、職⼈技を未来に存続させるために、2021年SSシーズンから、自社ブランド KANEMASAは誕生しました。
ブランドのアイコンであるロゴは、Clement Johant氏が手がけ、創業当初の1960年代の時代背景と欧州の文化を融合するデザインが完成しました。

The 28G Ombre Check Balise Shirt is the result of KANEMASA PHIL.’s signature advanced knitting techniques. This piece features an ombre check pattern that is entirely original to the brand. “Balise” means “beacon” in French, and this model was created to propose a new category that fuses elements of work shirts, dress shirts, and blousons.

Its most distinctive feature is the unique ombre check pattern, unlike anything else on the market. After knitting the border pattern on a 28-gauge jacquard loom, a special printing process is applied vertically to create an ombre check with depth.

By meticulously designing the knitting process with the post-print finish in mind, KANEMASA PHIL. has created a textile unique to the brand that seamlessly blends the techniques of knitting and printing.

The fabric is a brand-original material that combines high stretch, moderate body, appropriate thickness, and an elegant sheen. In addition to a comfortable fit that you’ll never want to take off once you put it on, it is wrinkle-resistant and easy to care for.

The stitching employs a rolled hem, similar to that used in dress shirts, and the use of mother-of-pearl buttons lends a high-quality impression. Meanwhile, the sleeve design incorporates elements of a bomber jacket to create a perfectly relaxed fit.

KANEMASA is an original brand of a circular knit manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, established by Kanemasa Mokudai Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Kanemasa Mokudai”), which was founded in 1964.
To preserve the unique technology required to master these knitting machines—including proprietary machines specialized for high-gauge knitting and jacquard machines capable of freely expressing a wide variety of patterns—as well as the artisanal skills that keep these techniques alive for future generations, the in-house brand KANEMASA was launched for the 2021 Spring/Summer season.
The brand’s iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant, resulting in a design that blends the historical context of the 1960s—when the company was founded—with European culture.
