KANEMASA PHIL.を代表する28Gキュプラ裏毛を贅沢に使用したワイドパンツ。

一見するとスウェットパンツのようなリラックス感を持ちながらも、キュプラ特有の美しい光沢と滑らかな落ち感によって、上品な佇まいへと昇華された一本です。

素材には、28ゲージの高密度裏毛機で編み立てたブランドオリジナルの裏毛素材を採用。表糸には105デニールの高収縮キュプラ糸を使用し、フィブリル加工を施すことで、独特の光沢感とヌメリ感、とろみのある風合いを生み出しています。

肌に触れる裏面には、オリジナルのリサイクルスビンコットン双糸を使用。さらりとした肌触りで快適な着用感を実現し、スウェットと天竺の中間ほどの絶妙な肉感に仕上げることで、季節を問わず着用できる汎用性も備えています。

シルエットは、ワタリから裾までストンと美しく落ちるストレートワイド。ノータック仕様にすることで素材本来のドレープが際立ち、ウエストを絞った際に生まれる自然な生地のたまりまで計算されたデザインです。

さらに裾にはドローコードを配置。ストレートシルエットはもちろん、裾を絞ることでシルエットに変化をつけ、その日のスタイリングやシューズに合わせた着こなしを楽しめます。ラフな穿き心地でありながら、どこか品のある表情を持つ一本。

HISTORY

KANEMASAは、1964年創業のカネマサ莫大小株式会社（以下、カネマサ莫大小）より発足した歌山県和歌山市を拠点にする丸編みニットメーカーのオリジナルブランドです。
ハイゲージに特化した独⾃の編機、様々な柄を⾃由に表現できるジャガード機、これらの編機を⾃在に操る特有の技術、職⼈技を未来に存続させるために、2021年SSシーズンから、自社ブランド KANEMASAは誕生しました。
ブランドのアイコンであるロゴは、Clement Johant氏が手がけ、創業当初の1960年代の時代背景と欧州の文化を融合するデザインが完成しました。

CONCEPT
「FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE（フューチャークラシック/フューチャーヴィンテージ）」をコンセプトに、私たちは“いま”考える未来の服を創造します。

These wide-leg pants are crafted using a generous amount of KANEMASA PHIL.’s signature 28G cupro fleece.

While they exude the relaxed feel of sweatpants at first glance, the beautiful luster and smooth drape unique to cupro elevate them to a sophisticated look.

The fabric is the brand’s original brushed fabric, knitted on a high-density 28-gauge brushed knitting machine. The face yarn is a 105-denier high-shrinkage cupro yarn that has undergone fibril processing to create a unique luster, a silky sheen, and a rich, velvety texture.

The inner side that touches the skin features the brand’s original recycled spun cotton two-ply yarn. This provides a smooth, comfortable feel against the skin, and the fabric’s exquisite thickness—somewhere between a sweatshirt and a jersey—ensures versatility for year-round wear.

The silhouette is a straight-wide cut that falls beautifully and straight from the thigh to the hem. The no-pleat design highlights the fabric’s natural drape, and the design is carefully calculated to create a natural pool of fabric when cinched at the waist.

Additionally, a drawcord is featured at the hem. While the straight silhouette is the standard look, you can adjust the hem to change the silhouette and enjoy styling that matches your outfit and shoes for the day. These pants offer a relaxed fit while maintaining a sense of sophistication.

KANEMASA is an original brand of a circular knit manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, established by Kanemasa Mokudai Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Kanemasa Mokudai”), which was founded in 1964.
To preserve the unique technology required to master these knitting machines—including proprietary machines specialized for high-gauge knitting and jacquard machines capable of freely expressing a wide variety of patterns—as well as the artisanal skills that keep these techniques alive for future generations, the in-house brand KANEMASA was launched for the 2021 Spring/Summer season.
The brand’s iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant, resulting in a design that blends the historical context of the 1960s—when the company was founded—with European culture.
