“modest” 程よい肩幅から裾に向かってストンと落ちるシルエットは名前通り控え目なシルエットです。

46Gという、スーパーハイゲージで、タイプライターという織物の高密度平織組織を実現。(1インチ約2.5cmの中に46本の針で編む世界でも極めて稀な特注編み機)ストレッチ性が高く一度着ると止められない着心地、そして、着用時のしわなどの形態変化も少なく、イージーケア性も高い。
ハリ感、光沢感、イージーケアを持ち併せた我々にしかできないニュースタンダードシャツ地。

ディティールは、ドレスシャツを採用し全て巻き伏せ本縫い仕様、貝蝶釦使いです。
素材のハリ感、光沢感、そして塩梅の良いシルエット、生地が生み出すドレッシー感とパターンを融合させた、唯一無二のシャツ。

袖のギャザーなどよりドレスなディティールに仕上げております。
柄に合わせて、糸選びをしております。
綿糸の原料は、160/1 という細番手リサイクルスビンコットンを双糸使い。
糸もガス焼きしたものを使うことで、より光沢感と洗濯後の毛羽を抑えております。
75D高捲縮リサイクルポリエステルを使用し、ストレッチ性を出しております。

今シーズンから釦裏側にブランドロゴを入れております。

HISTORY

KANEMASAは、1964年創業のカネマサ莫大小株式会社（以下、カネマサ莫大小）より発足した歌山県和歌山市を拠点にする丸編みニットメーカーのオリジナルブランドです。
ハイゲージに特化した独⾃の編機、様々な柄を⾃由に表現できるジャガード機、これらの編機を⾃在に操る特有の技術、職⼈技を未来に存続させるために、2021年SSシーズンから、自社ブランド KANEMASAは誕生しました。
ブランドのアイコンであるロゴは、Clement Johant氏が手がけ、創業当初の1960年代の時代背景と欧州の文化を融合するデザインが完成しました。

CONCEPT
「FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE（フューチャークラシック/フューチャーヴィンテージ）」をコンセプトに、私たちは“いま”考える未来の服を創造します。

This is KANEMASA PHIL at its best. Its appeal lies in the fact that it’s a classic.
A quintessential staple that we want everyone to know about.

“Modest”: With a moderate shoulder width and a silhouette that falls straight from the shoulders to the hem, this shirt lives up to its name with a understated look.

The 46G—a super-high gauge—achieves a high-density plain weave known as “typewriter.” (This is woven on an extremely rare, custom-made knitting machine that uses 46 needles per inch—approximately 2.5 cm.) It offers high stretch and a comfort you won’t be able to resist once you try it on. It also resists wrinkles and other changes in shape while worn, making it highly easy-care.
Combining structure, luster, and easy care, this is a new-standard shirt fabric that only we can create.

The details are inspired by dress shirts, featuring fully flat-felled seams and mother-of-pearl buttons.
This one-of-a-kind shirt blends the fabric’s structure, luster, and perfectly balanced silhouette with the pattern to create a dressy look.

We’ve incorporated more dressy details, such as gathers on the sleeves.
We select the yarn to complement the pattern.
For the cotton yarn, we use a two-ply combination of fine-count 160/1 recycled spun cotton.
By using gas-treated yarn, we enhance the luster and minimize pilling after washing.
We use 75D high-crimp recycled polyester to provide stretch.

Starting this season, the brand logo is embroidered on the back of the buttons.

*Overlock stitching—A sewing method used to ensure a comfortable feel against the skin; after a single pass with the sewing machine, the fabric edge is folded over and sewn again so that the raw edge is not visible.

“KANEMASA PHIL”

HISTORY

KANEMASA is an original brand of a circular knitwear manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, established by Kanemasa Mokudai Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Kanemasa Mokudai”), which was founded in 1964.
To preserve the unique technology required to masterfully operate these machines—including proprietary knitting machines specialized for high-gauge knitting and jacquard machines capable of freely expressing a wide variety of patterns—as well as the artisanal skills that keep these techniques alive for future generations, the in-house brand KANEMASA was launched for the 2021 Spring/Summer season.
The brand’s iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant, resulting in a design that fuses the historical context of the 1960s—when the company was founded—with European culture.

Guided by the concept of “FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE,” we create clothing for the future as envisioned “today.”
