生地には、世界でも希少な36Gジャカード機を使用し、限界まで度目を詰めて編み立てたオリジナル天竺を採用。糸には、ナイロン芯へSuper140'sウールを巻き付けた独自開発の特殊糸を使用し、ウールならではの上質な風合いと機能性を高次元で融合しています。

優れたストレッチ性に加え、耐久性・抗ピリング性・寸法安定性にも優れ、日常使いでも型崩れしにくい仕上がり。さらにシルキー加工を施すことで、美しい光沢と滑らかなタッチを実現し、ハイゲージ素材では珍しい奥行きのある表情を生み出しています。

HISTORY

KANEMASAは、1964年創業のカネマサ莫大小株式会社（以下、カネマサ莫大小）より発足した歌山県和歌山市を拠点にする丸編みニットメーカーのオリジナルブランドです。
ハイゲージに特化した独⾃の編機、様々な柄を⾃由に表現できるジャガード機、これらの編機を⾃在に操る特有の技術、職⼈技を未来に存続させるために、2021年SSシーズンから、自社ブランド KANEMASAは誕生しました。

ブランドのアイコンであるロゴは、Clement Johant氏が手がけ、創業当初の1960年代の時代背景と欧州の文化を融合するデザインが完成しました。

CONCEPT
「FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE（フューチャークラシック/フューチャーヴィンテージ）」をコンセプトに、私たちは“いま”考える未来の服を創造します。

Fabric & Details
Made using a high-density jersey weave produced on a custom-made 36G jacquard knitting machine, pushed to its limits. It features a special yarn developed from the ground up, consisting of a nylon core wrapped in Super 140 wool yarn.

This unique fabric offers the functionality of wool while delivering exceptional stretch, durability, resistance to pilling, and dimensional stability.

A silky finish adds an elegant sheen that contrasts with the high gauge, creating an unprecedented texture and surface feel. Its appearance and touch offer a truly unique character.

It features high wash durability, maintaining its shape and preserving its texture and appearance even after years of wear. The classic, well-balanced fit allows it to be worn on its own or as a layering piece.

A yarn-dyed striped T-shirt featuring a fine stripe pattern. It is characterized by a moderately loose silhouette with a rounded shape from the shoulders to the body.

HISTORY

KANEMASA is an original brand of a circular knitwear manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, established by Kanemasa Mokutai Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Kanemasa Mokutai”), which was founded in 1964.
To preserve the unique technology required to masterfully operate these machines—including proprietary knitting machines specialized for high-gauge knitting and jacquard machines capable of freely expressing a wide variety of patterns—as well as the artisanal skills that keep these techniques alive for future generations, the in-house brand KANEMASA was launched for the 2021 Spring/Summer season.
The brand’s iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant, resulting in a design that blends the historical context of the 1960s—when the company was founded—with European culture.

CONCEPT
Under the concept of “FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE,” we create clothing for the future as envisioned “now.”
