“modest” 程よい肩幅から裾に向かってストンと落ちるシルエットは名前通り控え目なシルエットです。

46Gという、スーパーハイゲージで、タイプライターという織物の高密度平織組織を実現。(1インチ約2.5cmの中に46本の針で編む世界でも極めて稀な特注編み機)ストレッチ性が高く一度着ると止められない着心地、そして、着用時のしわなどの形態変化も少なく、イージーケア性も高い。

ハリ感、光沢感、イージーケアを持ち併せた我々にしかできないニュースタンダードシャツ地。
ディティールは、ドレスシャツを採用し全て巻き伏せ本縫い仕様、貝蝶釦使いです。

素材のハリ感、光沢感がある為、オーバーパターンですがカジュアルになりすぎない、生地が生み出すドレッシー感とパターンが生み出すカジュアル感を融合させた、ラグジュアリールーズな唯一無二のシャツ。

綿糸の原料は、120/1 という細番手リサイクルスビンコットンを双糸使い。
糸もガス焼きしたものを使うことで、より光沢感と洗濯後の毛羽を抑えております。

50D高捲縮リサイクルナイロンを使用し、ストレッチ性を出しております。今シーズンから釦裏側にブランドロゴを入れております。

※巻き伏せ本縫い-肌あたりが良くする為、生地の端が見えないように、一度ミシンをかけた後かぶせるように、もう一度ミシンをかける縫製方法。

HISTORY

KANEMASAは、1964年創業のカネマサ莫大小株式会社（以下、カネマサ莫大小）より発足した歌山県和歌山市を拠点にする丸編みニットメーカーのオリジナルブランドです。
ハイゲージに特化した独⾃の編機、様々な柄を⾃由に表現できるジャガード機、これらの編機を⾃在に操る特有の技術、職⼈技を未来に存続させるために、2021年SSシーズンから、自社ブランド KANEMASAは誕生しました。
ブランドのアイコンであるロゴは、Clement Johant氏が手がけ、創業当初の1960年代の時代背景と欧州の文化を融合するデザインが完成しました。

CONCEPT
「FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE（フューチャークラシック/フューチャーヴィンテージ）」をコンセプトに、私たちは“いま”考える未来の服を創造します。

This is KANEMASA PHIL. Its persuasive power comes precisely from being a staple.
The quintessential staple item we want everyone to know about.

“modest” The silhouette, with its moderate shoulder width falling straight down to the hem, is modest as the name suggests.

Achieved with a super-high gauge of 46G, realizing the high-density plain weave structure of typewriter fabric. (A custom-made knitting machine, extremely rare worldwide, knitting with 46 needles per inch (approx. 2.5cm).) Highly stretchy, offering an irresistible comfort once worn. It also resists wrinkles and other shape changes during wear, making it highly easy-care.

A new standard shirting fabric only we could create, combining crispness, sheen, and easy care.
Details include dress shirt construction with all flat-felled seams and pearl buttons.

The fabric's inherent crispness and sheen ensure it remains dressy despite the oversized pattern, fusing the fabric's inherent elegance with the pattern's casual feel for a uniquely luxurious, relaxed shirt.

The cotton yarn uses 120/1 fine-count recycled combed cotton in a two-ply construction.
Gas-burning the yarn further enhances the sheen and reduces pilling after washing.

50D high-crimp recycled nylon provides stretch. Starting this season, the brand logo is placed on the back of the buttons.

※Rolled Hem Stitching - A sewing method where the fabric edge is hidden by stitching over it a second time after the initial stitch, ensuring a smooth feel against the skin.

HISTORY

KANEMASA is the original brand of a circular knitting manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture. It originated from Kanemasa Mokudai Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Kanemasa Mokudai), founded in 1964.
To preserve the unique techniques and craftsmanship required to master these specialized machines—including high-gauge knitting machines and Jacquard machines capable of freely expressing diverse patterns—the KANEMASA brand was born in the Spring/Summer 2021 season.
The brand's iconic logo, designed by Clement Johant, blends the era of its founding in the 1960s with European cultural influences.

Under the concept “FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE,” we create clothing for the future, conceived in the present.
