SANDINISTA Supplex® Nylon Mods Coat POLARTEC® ALPHA™ は、機能素材を贅沢に使用した、中綿入りモッズコート。肩と身幅にゆとりを持たせており、ボタンタイプのジャケットやデニムジャケット、ライトアウターの上からオーバーコートとして羽織る事も可能なタウンユースからアウトドアまで幅広いシーンで活躍する一着です。

表地には Supplex® ナイロン を採用(SUPPLEX®ナイロンは、デュポン社（現在はインビスタ社が商標を保有）が開発した高機能ナイロン素材です。軽量でコンパクトながら、綿のような柔らかい手触りが特徴です)。

撥水加工が施されたハイマルチナイロン生地は、ソフトでしなやかな風合いが特徴で、まるでコットンのような自然な質感を持ちながらも、雨風に強い高機能性を発揮します。

中綿には POLARTEC® ALPHA™ を使用(POLARTEC® Alpha™は、保温性と通気性を両立させた画期的なインサレーション（中綿）素材です。特徴として寒冷地での激しい運動時でも、体温を適切に保ちながら余分な熱や湿気を効果的に排出します)。一般的な化繊中綿と異なり、綿を編み込む構造により 伸縮性・通気性・速乾性 に優れ、蒸れを抑えながら確かな保温性をキープ。濡れても断熱効果が落ちにくい点も魅力です。

両脇には便利な内ポケットを配置し、デザインだけでなく機能面も充実。街中での着用はもちろん、旅行・キャンプ・フェスなどアクティブなシーンでも頼れる一枚。

カナダ出身のグラフィックデザイナーVINCENT COOKと、ディレクター菊地威史にによって、2000年に立ち上げられたメンズファッションブランド。
ネーミングの「SANDINISTA」はニカラグアの解放軍(現在はニカラグアの政党の一つ)の名前に由来する。東京・中目黒とカナダ・バンクーバーにオフィスを構える老舗ブランド。
"Simple Is the best" 1シーズンで飽きる洋服のデザインではなく、長く着られる服作りを心掛けている。

The SANDINISTA Supplex® Nylon Mods Coat POLARTEC® ALPHA™ is a quilted mods coat luxuriously crafted with functional materials. Designed with roomy shoulders and a relaxed fit, it serves as an overcoat that can be worn over button-up jackets, denim jackets, or light outerwear. This versatile piece excels in diverse settings, from urban wear to outdoor adventures.

The outer shell uses Supplex® Nylon (SUPPLEX® Nylon is a high-performance nylon fabric developed by DuPont (trademark now owned by Invista). It is lightweight and compact, yet features a soft, cotton-like feel).

The high-multifilament nylon fabric with a water-repellent finish has a soft, supple texture. It offers a natural feel reminiscent of cotton while delivering high functionality, resisting rain and wind.

The filling uses POLARTEC® ALPHA™ (POLARTEC® Alpha™ is a revolutionary insulation material that balances warmth and breathability. It effectively expels excess heat and moisture while maintaining proper body temperature, even during intense activity in cold climates). Unlike typical synthetic fill, its woven cotton construction excels in stretch, breathability, and quick-drying properties, suppressing moisture buildup while maintaining reliable warmth. It also retains its insulation even when wet.

Convenient inner pockets are placed on both sides, enhancing functionality as well as design. Perfect for city wear, it's also a reliable piece for travel, camping, festivals, and other active scenes.
