SANDINISTA MA-1 - Overdyed（オーバーダイ） は、特殊な酸性染料による製品染めを施した、ワイドシルエットのMA-1フライトジャケットです。

高温処理を必要としない特殊染料を採用したことで、生地へのダメージが少なく、柔らかでナチュラルな風合いに仕上がっています。深みのあるムラ感や、製品染めならではの自然な色合いの濃淡が魅力。

デザインは、身幅が広く、着丈を短く設定したメリハリのあるバランスが特徴。ミリタリーベースの無骨さを残しながらも、現代的なシルエットに再構築した一着となっています。

中綿には 3M Thinsulate™（シンサレート） を使用しており、軽量ながら優れた保温性を発揮。両サイドには便利な内ポケットを備え、収納性にも配慮しています。

シンプルな着こなしからストリートスタイルまで幅広く対応でき、ドアtoドアで過ごす方などは車の乗り降りにも適した着丈感もGOODで、秋冬の主役アウターとして活躍。製品染めによる一点一点異なる表情は、所有する楽しさを感じさせるアイテムです。着丈が長く無いのでユニセックスやシャアとしてのご着用も可能です。

カナダ出身のグラフィックデザイナーVINCENT COOKと、ディレクター菊地威史にによって、2000年に立ち上げられたメンズファッションブランド。
ネーミングの「SANDINISTA」はニカラグアの解放軍(現在はニカラグアの政党の一つ)の名前に由来する。東京・中目黒とカナダ・バンクーバーにオフィスを構える老舗ブランド。
"Simple Is the best" 1シーズンで飽きる洋服のデザインではなく、長く着られる服作りを心掛けている。

The SANDINISTA MA-1 - Overdyed is a wide-silhouette MA-1 flight jacket finished with a special acid dye product dyeing process.

By using a special dye that doesn't require high-temperature processing, damage to the fabric is minimized, resulting in a soft, natural texture. Its appeal lies in the deep, uneven texture and the natural variations in shade unique to garment dyeing.

The design features a wide body width and a shortened length for a well-defined, balanced silhouette. It retains the ruggedness of its military roots while being reimagined into a contemporary shape.

The insulation uses 3M Thinsulate™, offering lightweight yet excellent warmth. Convenient inner pockets on both sides add practical storage.

Versatile enough for simple looks or street style, its length is ideal for getting in and out of cars, making it a great door-to-door piece. It shines as a key outerwear piece for fall and winter. The unique character of each garment, resulting from the garment dyeing process, makes it an item you'll enjoy owning. Its shorter length also allows for unisex or shared wear.

The name “SANDINISTA” originates from the Nicaraguan Liberation Army (now one of Nicaragua's political parties). A long-established brand with offices in Nakameguro, Tokyo, and Vancouver, Canada.
