ネーミングの「SANDINISTA」はニカラグアの解放軍(現在はニカラグアの政党の一つ)の名前に由来する。東京・中目黒とカナダ・バンクーバーにオフィスを構える老舗ブランド。
"Simple Is the best" 1シーズンで飽きる洋服のデザインではなく、長く着られる服作りを心掛けている。
